Tín hiệu vị trí CANopen của bộ mã hóa và các đầu ra chuyển mạch có thể được tham số hóa riêng biệt. Tham số hóa (giới hạn cam, độ phân giải, phạm vi đo aso) phải được xác minh với NOCN thông qua một tổng kiểm tra. Tổng kiểm tra này có thể được tính toán bằng chương trình TWK hoặc thuật toán tiêu chuẩn do CiA khuyến nghị. Sau khi xác minh, thiết bị có thể được thiết lập hoạt động.
Cài đặt trước và độ phân giải của tín hiệu vị trí cũng ảnh hưởng đến các cam tham chiếu đến tín hiệu vị trí. Tham số hóa được thực hiện thông qua các đối tượng CANopen có liên quan theo cấu hình bộ mã hóa theo CiA, DS 406, bản sửa đổi 4.0.2.
Thiết kế vỏ bọc đặc biệt 78 mm đáp ứng các yêu cầu ATEX cho vùng 1/21 và được cung cấp kèm theo chứng chỉ liên quan.
